Enterprise Engineering Services has been awarded a floodgate replacement contract to the value of £650,000 by Scottish and Southern Energy plc.

The work involves the on-site removal of the existing three floodgates at Rannoch Weir, at the end of Loch Rannoch, that were Installed in the 1930's along with the refurbishment of the existing headgear.

During the 20 month contract, the Enterprise team will undertake a detailed design phase and also produce a 3D model of the gates prior to the manufacture in the Aberdeen workshop.

It has a diverse portfolio of skills which has seen the company grow from a sheet metal fabrication facility in the 1960's to a three division group comprising of Enterprise Engineering, Scottish Rig Repairs (SRR) and Site Services.
